Open House (7-21 and 22-2010

The open house was a welcome activity of us,  the students as we get to have visitors who come in and observe what assumption education is. Parents and students from different schools were toured and made to view the classrooms and facilities of the school. We the students would in turn behave appropriately as we could. This experience made me realize that beyond these gates and walls of our school is a wider and diverse world as represented by the various people from different backgrounds coming to and fro the campus. We are part of a larger community of people and we must learn to live in harmony with the rest. The two day open house was a success and I am looking forward to an activity such as this in the near future. 

Fun fair (8/11/10)

I was looking forward to the centennial fair days before this day came. Alumni lining up the entrance with all the stubs and stuff to welcome this event had always been a sight to see. Finally it was Wednesday and the D day is here. The day started off as expected with tons of fun and amusements scattered all throughout the school ground. Booths, rides, and a lot more can be seen. Alumni, classmates,schoolmates, teachers and guest roam the campus with smiles on their faces , looking for a new and interesting place to go to.  The young and old alike are had their share of fun and enjoyment. Looking back, with all the hustle and bustle, one important thing that you should have with you wherever you go is money. but despite the rains and financial concerns what is important is that we all enjoyed.

the grand centennial velada

The Velada was a success after all the practices that we did and all the difficulties that we've gone through in doing the props and a lot of stuff.It was a great experience for me because it taught me a lot of things like team work and discipline. Even though my parents would sometimes get mad at me because i always go home late,i did not regret that i have joined the grand Velada because it taught me lessons that will stay with me and ideas that I can use to improve myself. With this experience I also met people and developed friendships along the way.I get to experience with all its grandeur as the cast are more mature. All in all it was fun and memorable.
